WELCOME

Nanoscale Science and Engineering for Agriculture and Food Systems(NSEAFS)...

Excellent advances have been made in nanotechnologies with the support of NSF, NIH, DOE, NASA, DOD, DOT, NIST and EPA under the Nantional Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI). These advances pave the way for significant new initiatives focused on agricultural and food systems supported by the USDA.

The Goal of the National Planning Workshop is to develop a science roadmap with a set of scientific recommendations for national nanotechnology research for agriculture and food systems. It will stimulate new research directions and provide supporting information for CSREES's future decisions for research investments.
